ChatGPT Prompt: The AIDA Framework

Struggling to get your audience’s attention?

Or maybe you can get their attention but can’t inspire them to take a specific action.

You’re about to learn how to use ChatGPT and the “AIDA” model to make any piece of content 10x more attention-grabbing and persuasive.

"AIDA" is a pillar of copywriting.

Attention: Grab the reader's attention.

Interest: Generate interest in the content.

Desire: Create desire for what you're explaining/selling.

Action: Prompt the reader to take action.

Using this model for your writing/video script is the simplest way to make a piece of content more persuasive.

Here's how I use ChatGPT to supercharge the AIDA model.

• Give ChatGPT the role of an experienced copywriter you've hired

• Ask ChatGPT to tease out the required information from you using a series of questions

• Ask it to use the information to generate an AIDA-based opening paragraph and an outline for your content.

Use the prompt template below.

I find that asking ChatGPT to slowly tease the information out of you works well.

It gets you to really think through what the objective of the content is in the first place.

The Prompt Template 🤖:

"Please create an opening paragraph and an overall outline for a piece of content I'm going to write using the AIDA model.

The AIDA model stands for Attention, Interest, Desire, and Action. It's a proven framework for writing persuasive content.

To ensure the opening paragraph and outline are tailored to my needs, please ask me a series of questions to gather the necessary information.

Ask the series of questions one by one. Act as though you're an experienced copywriter I've hired that's slowly extracting the necesssary information from me."

Example 💻️ :

Here's an example.

I asked ChatGPT to generate an opening paragraph and outline for an issue of my email newsletter.

The issue teaches content creators how to use the Pareto Principle (80/20).

Desired action - getting the reader to apply the principle to their content workflow.

ChatGPT asked me a series of questions.

It was like having a back-and-forth with a copywriter.

Here’s what it eventually generated.

Zoom in if you have to.

Note that it isn't perfect.

Too many exclamation marks and it sounds disingenuous.

But I was left with an opening paragraph and an outline for my content that was clear and persuasive.

I could then draw inspiration from it and flesh it out using my own style and experience.

Try it out.

AI Story Of The Day đź“°

Professor Fails His Students For Using “ChatGTP”

A Texas professor failed all of his students after using ChatGPT to detect cheating.

He sent his students an email letting them know they would all be receiving an “X” in his course.

Why?

Because he had used “ChatGTP” (referring to ChatGPT) to test whether they’d used the software to write the papers.

The bot claimed to have written every single one.

It’s widely known that ChatGPT often wrongfully claims human-written work as its own.

Having said that, it’s no secret that students and professionals are also taking full advantage of the chatbot that’s taken the world by storm.

The education system was already rife with problems.

Adding plagiarism and AI into the mix has definitely added fuel to the fire.
