AI Content Tip Of The Day 🖋️
ChatGPT Prompt: Audience Simulation
Content that falls flat after many hours of work can be demotivating.
Unfortunately, this isn’t uncommon for most creators.
As confident as you might be while creating it, you never really know how an audience will react until you release it.
Ultimately, there’s no way of avoiding this.
As you get more experienced, the hits gradually outweigh the misses.
But there will always be misses, no matter how big you get.
It comes down to the fact that creators don’t really know what their audience wants from their content.
In fact, it’s often the case that the audience themselves don’t really know what they want either.
So, I created a ChatGPT prompt to try and simulate an audience’s reaction to a piece of content.
Try it out before you get to work. It should give you some additional insight.
What your audience actually wants from the content, as well as what they probably don’t want.
Use the template below after filling in the blanks you feel would be most relevant.
The Prompt Template 🤖:
"ChatGPT, I'm preparing to release a new piece of content and I want you to simulate potential audience reactions before it goes live. This will assist me in making necessary adjustments for better reception. I want you to consider the following parameters and provide an analysis:
Type of content (written, audio, video): [insert]
Subject or theme of the content: [insert]
Target audience (eg. demographics, interests, profession, etc.): [insert]
Tone or style of the content (serious, humorous, technical, conversational, etc.): [insert]
Purpose or goal of the content (inform, entertain, persuade, sell a product, etc.): [insert]
Platform of release (YouTube, blog, podcast, etc.): [insert]
Length/Density of the content (brief overview or in-depth, duration or word count etc.): [insert]
Upon your input, please:
- Analyze potential reactions from different audience segments.
- Suggest improvements to better suit the audience's needs.
- Predict audience's questions or concerns.
- Identify possible points of interest or controversy.
- Provide any other useful insights for content refinement.
