AI Tool Of The Day 🛠️

Writesonic - AI-generated blog posts, tweets, ad copy, emails, and more.

All-in-one writing tools are probably where we’re going to end up.

People simply don’t have the time or patience to use multiple tools for different writing tasks.

As far as all-in-one writing tools go, tools like Jasper and WriteSonic continue to battle it out.

The question is, who comes out on top?

ChatGPT Prompt: Personalized Book Recommendations

Imagine having an obscenely well-read, good-looking friend in your back pocket.

That friend knows exactly what you want to read.

It bases its suggestions on its finely-tuned understanding of your taste.

What you like, as well as what you don’t like.

That friend is ChatGPT.

Use this ChatGPT prompt template to generate a carefully curated list of book recommendations tailored to your taste.

The more info you give, the more likely you are to get recommendations in line with your taste.

But don't feel the need to fill all of the blanks in.

In fact, I often like to leave some blank so I get the more creative recommendations

The Prompt Template 🤖:

"Please create a personalized list of book recommendations that align with my reading preferences. The recommendations should be tailored to my specific taste and interests. Please use the following information to assist you in generating the list:

Preferred genres or themes: [e.g., fantasy, mystery, science fiction, self-help]

Previously enjoyed books or authors: [e.g., mention specific books or authors you have enjoyed in the past]

Preferred writing style: [e.g., descriptive, concise, lyrical]

Mood or atmosphere: [e.g., uplifting, suspenseful, thought-provoking]

Complexity level: [e.g., light and easy, intellectually challenging]

Fiction or non-fiction preference: [e.g., fiction, non-fiction, both]

Time period or setting: [e.g., specific time periods or settings that interest you]

Specific topics or subjects of interest: [e.g., mention any particular topics or subjects you'd like the books to explore]

Target audience: [e.g., young adults, professionals, general readers]

Books to avoid: [e.g., mention any books or genres you dislike or want to exclude from the recommendations]"

Example 💻️ :

Here's an example.

I asked ChatGPT for a list of book recommendations.

I left out parameters like "time period" and "preferred writing style" because they don't matter to me.

If they matter to you, include them.

Zoom in if you have to.

While I try to set aside time for reading, it's a pretty big time commitment.

I don't want to waste too much time looking for new books.

I also don't want to waste time reading the first couple of chapters only to find that I don't enjoy the book.

This prompt should help.

Try it out for yourself!

AI Story Of The Day đź“°

Take-Two CEO Is Skeptical Of AI’s Abilities

Video game company Take-Two’s CEO Strauss Zelnick says the advances in AI won’t make it easier to create hits.

“Hits are created by genius”.

He believes genius is the domain of human beings and will remain that way.

However, he does seem pretty enthusiastic about AI being able to improve the efficiency of Take Two’s workflow.

Take-Two is a gaming behemoth; a holding company that owns two major publishing labels - Rockstar Games and 2K.

Its combined portfolio includes hit franchises such as Red Dead and Grand Theft Auto.

The company knows a thing or two about creating hits.

Viral Bits From The Web 🍬

DraGAN is an AI tool that allows for interactive point-based manipulation of images.

Sound exciting?

Probably not.

But this video demo has been doing the rounds on Twitter and Reddit.

It’s pretty mind-blowing.

Check it out.

And that’s all for today!

See you tomorrow 🙂
