7 New ChatGPT Prompts For Creators
ChatGPT Plus can browse the internet now.
Why does this matter?
Well, with browsing disabled or unavailable, ChatGPT has to rely on an old dataset (pre-September 2021) to generate its responses.
The ability to browse gives ChatGPT access to real-time information.
This leads to responses that are more up-to-date.
It isn’t perfect (yet).
But on testing, the information is clearly more up-to-date and the sources linked to are more relevant.
If you don’t have ChatGPT Plus, use Google Bard instead. It’s free (for now) and does browse the web too.
Here are 7 prompts you can use now (that you weren’t able to before):
1. Real-time information gathering
"ChatGPT, I'm working on a piece of content about [specific topic/field].
Could you please browse the internet and give me the latest news, updates, and data about [specific topic/field]? Please include links to sources."
2. Trend analysis
"ChatGPT, I'm looking to create content in the [specific industry/niche].
Please research the latest trends in this area.
I'd like to know what's popular, what's sparking interest, and what kinds of content are getting the most engagement right now."
3. Competitive analysis
"ChatGPT, I'm creating content in the [specific niche/industry].
Could you please analyze other content creators in this field?
I'm interested in the topics they are covering, the keywords they are using, and their audience engagement metrics."
4. Finding resources
"ChatGPT, I'm working on a [specific type of content] and I need [specific type of resources, e.g., stock photos, royalty-free music, content creation tools].
Could you help me find these online?"
5. Improving skills
"ChatGPT, I want to improve my skills in [specific area, e.g., video editing, SEO, graphic design].
Could you find tutorials, courses, or articles that could help me learn and improve in this area?"
6. Find collaboration opportunities
"ChatGPT, I'm a content creator in the [specific industry/niche] and I'm looking for potential partners for collaborations or guest posts.
Could you browse the internet and give me a list of creators in my field who might be open to this?"
7. Curation
"ChatGPT, I'm looking to share high-quality content in the field of [specific industry/niche] with my audience.
Could you browse the internet and provide me with a list of recent articles, videos, or posts that are insightful and engaging?"
News For Creators đź“°
Sci-fi author Tim Boucher claims to have written 97 books in nine months with the help of AI tools, including ChatGPT and Midjourney.
Boucher says the AI tools help him maintain consistent quality while increasing his output.
The books are 2,000 to 5,000 words long and feature 40 to 140 AI-generated images.
Boucher plans to create at least 1,000 books and is selling them online for between $1.99 and $3.99.
In February, ChatGPT was credited as an author or coauthor on over 200 books being sold on Amazon.
While I can’t comment on the quality of the writing, calling a 2000-5000 word piece of writing a “novel” is dubious.
Interesting times for the publishing space.
