Use ChatGPT To Get Content Ideas From Other Creators
Great creators borrow from other great creators.
They take inspiration from their content.
They analyze what works for other creators and put their own spin on it.
Ever notice how every popular YouTube thumbnail appears to have the same features?
Vivid colors, surprised facial expressions, graphics, and so on.
This happens with every type of content.
Creators mimic other creators.
Donāt get me wrong.
Plagiarism in content creation should never be tolerated.
But thereās a difference between stealing and āstealing like an artistā.
Hereās a little ChatGPT trick I use to generate content ideas from other creatorsā content.
More specifically, from Youtube creators.
Whether youāre a blogger, a Tik Toker, or a YouTuber, you can take inspiration from popular YouTube video titles and use them to generate your own content ideas.
Supercharge the process with ChatGPT.
Hereās what you do:
Find a YouTube channel you like. The niche should be related to your own niche but doesnāt need to be exactly the same.
Sort the channelās videos by popularity.

Drag your cursor down the grid of that creatorās videos and copy around 20 of the video titles to your clipboard (Ctrl + C).

Paste the video titles into the ChatGPT prompt template below and fill in the details of the type of content you produce.
The Prompt Template š¤:
"I've been following a creator whose work I admire. I believe there are elements from their content that could provide inspiration for my own work. Here's some information about their content and my own:
Their Content:
Platform: [Platform they use]
Examples Of Their Content Titles:
[COPY AND PASTE THE YOUTUBE VIDEO TITLES]
My Content:
Niche: [Your niche]
Type Of Content: [eg. travel newsletter, finance blog]
Target audience: [Your target audience]
Given these inputs, could you generate a bulleted list of 10 content ideas, inspired by the titles from the other creator's content, but tailored to my specific niche, medium, and audience?
Hereās an example.
I used this technique (and the video titles from the screenshot above) to generate content ideas for a blog in the US travel niche:

Try it out for yourself.
Take inspiration from other creators and use it to create your own great content.
Enjoy.
