But I wanted to turn the headline and the opening few lines into a template for you to use in your own content.

A blog post, a video, or anything else.

So here it is again — the headline and opening from a viral video by personal development YouTuber Jordan Thornton.

🎣 The Original Opening Lines:

“These 12 books are rare.

You will not find them anywhere else on YouTube because they typically have zero Amazon reviewers and the average publication date is 1989.

It’s taken me thousands of hours to condense this year's research of 133 psychology books into this golden stack of 12”

🧠 Why It Works

• Costly Signaling: Mentioning how much time and effort has gone into the content increases its perceived value.

• Exclusivity: "Rare" suggests that the information is not commonly known or widely shared. Privileged info is always intriguing.

Opening Template:
