The mental toll

Your audience’s brain doesn’t want more information.
It wants fewer decisions.
Heads-up:
My live online workshop “The 3-Minute Lead Magnet” is coming up soon — and the early bird discount ends at midnight. Save your spot quick before the price goes up.
OK, so about a decade back, I booked a last-minute trip to Bangkok.
Spent hours bouncing between travel blogs, Reddit threads, YouTube videos.
I was a mess — paralyzed by research.
Then I found this random comment buried in a Reddit thread:
“Fly into Bangkok. Stay at this specific hostel on Khao San Road. Book these two day trips when you land.”
That was it.
No master plan. No waffle. No 70-step itinerary.
I landed, checked into a room with zero ventilation, paper thin walls, and a fan that sounded like it was preparing for lift-off.
Wouldn’t do it now.
But back in my state of crippling inaction? It was perfect.
Because it got me moving.
It didn’t solve everything.
But it cut through the fog and gave me a starting line.
I call this the “mental toll”.
Most people don’t fail to act because they’re lazy.
They fail because the cost of starting is too high.
“Cheat codes” lower that cost.
They reduce the friction.
They narrow the decision tree.
They turn “Where do I even begin?” into “Oh, this first.”

The fastest way to build trust?
Make the hard thing feel doable.
P.S. “Cheat codes” like these make for extremely powerful and high-converting lead magnets.
