Content shouldn't feel like work

Harsh truth: If your content feels like work, you've already lost them.
Before I continue:
The 3-Minute Lead Magnet workshop was a hit — and the recording is available to get until tomorrow. If you missed it, this is your last chance to watch. Grab it before it’s too late.
OK.
So, a few months ago, I bought a new coffee grinder.
Supposed to be “easy to set up.”
Plug and play, they said.
Instead?
The box opened up like a cruel joke:
A 17-page instruction manual — tiny font, broken diagrams, 6 languages smashed together.
Ten minutes in, I wasn’t learning.
I was questioning my life choices.
Finally, I gave up.
Typed the model into YouTube.
Found a random dude explaining it in 90 seconds — no jargon, no steps, just “do this, then this, then you’re good.”
Boom. Grinder working.
The manual wasn’t wrong.
It was just too much.
I didn’t want homework.
I wanted coffee.
That’s the problem with a lot of content today.
It’s written like an instruction manual — thorough, detailed, careful...
And it loses people.
Your audience doesn’t want perfect directions.
They want a quickstart guide.
Something that feels light.
Simple.
Fast.
Something that gets them their first small win without friction.
Because if your content feels like work...
You’ve already lost them.
