STABLE DOODLE

Stable Doodle is a simple but incredibly powerful image tool.

It’s sole purpose?

To convert messy doodles into AI-generated works of art.

Here’s how it works..

Getting Started 👇️ 

1. Go to https://clipdrop.co/stable-doodle

You’ll be met with a blank canvas.

I love how simple it is.

2. Start doodling

Doodle whatever you want using the cursor.

Don’t worry about making it perfect.

Some of the doodles I did were awful.

Here’s an example.

What is it? Excellent question.

It’s a man in a suit and tie.

I wanted it to form the basis of a vector logo for my men’s style blog.

No judgement please.

3. Add a prompt

This bit is crucial.

It’s where you tell Stable Doodle what you want to see.

Stable Doodle will take your doodle, take the prompt, and spit out an image.

You can even choose the style of image you want.

Options include photographic, fantasy art, and even origami art.

For this example, I used the following prompt:

“Vector logo for a men's style website: a suit and tie”

4. Generate the image

Once you’re happy with your doodle and your prompt, click “Generate”.

This is what it gave me.

Personally, I think the one on the bottom left is great.

You may need to give it a few tries before you get what you want.

But I’m sure you can appreciate the potential.

Limitations

• Sometimes, the AI in image-generation tools like Midjourney and Stable Doodle may unintentionally create images that look similar to existing work. This could potentially lead to copyright issues/DMCA takedown requests in the future - who knows. The future of copyright and AI-generated art is uncertain.

• As you can see from the images generated in the example above, they aren’t perfect. The lapels in the top right image look downright abnormal. Right now, little imperfections are commonplace with AI-generated images. It’ll improve over time.

Overall, this tool is well worth a try.

It’s a fun indication of where design could eventually end up.

You provide the outline.

Technology then does the heavy lifting.
