Story Injector

Heya — Dil here.

Unpopular opinion: Forgettable content is objectively worse than bad content.

A long-time reader replied to one of my recent newsletters with this:

“I’ve been posting a lot — reels and LinkedIn posts — but it always feels flat and throwaway. How can I create content people actually remember months or even years down the line?”

Nike understands the answer better than anyone.

They rarely try to sell shoes by listing out their materials or tech specs.

They sell the feeling of running.

The emotion of grit.

The transformation.

Think about their “Just Do It” campaigns.

No sneaker specs in sight.

Instead, you get stories:

* An 80-year-old man who runs five miles every morning.

* A woman who finishes her first marathon after years of self-doubt.

* A kid with asthma who becomes a track star.

These aren’t facts.

They’re feelings.

And they’re unforgettable.

Because story creates something logic can’t: emotional resonance.

Your content is probably already smart.

Well-researched. Helpful. Clear.

But if people aren’t remembering it — or worse, aren’t sharing it — it’s not because it’s wrong.

It’s because it’s forgettable.

A strong story makes your point stick in their head — and stay there.

It adds context, connection, emotion, and memory.

So, if you want to make your content more memorable:

Inject a story into it.

To make that stupid-simple, I use a ChatGPT prompt I call the “Story Inject”.

Just add your role and niche in the first line, then paste in your content at the bottom — a blog post, tweet, email, video script, whatever.

Drop the full prompt (with your content) into ChatGPT, and it’ll instantly give you 5 story ideas you can weave in.

Start of prompt.

“I’m a [insert role/business] and content creator in the [insert niche/industry]. I’ve pasted my content at the bottom.

Please take the key idea or takeaway and list 5 ideas for relevant, related personal stories, historical examples, or real-world moments I could use to make the content more memorable.

Here’s my content:

[Insert Your Content Here]”

End of prompt.

Try it and watch even the simplest pieces of content become sticky and shareable.

P.S. If you’re a creator, coach, or consultant who wants to write emails that hook, engage, and sell with stories

I teach a ‘backwards’ newsletter-writing method that helps you craft punchy emails your audience feels — and remembers.

Whether you're just starting your list or tired of writing emails no one clicks or buys from

We’ll fix it together in a live 1:1 Zoom session.

Here’s to becoming unforgettable (the easy way).

Cheers,
